This paper was delivered at the Office of Surface Mining “Advances in Geomorphic Reclamation” forum held in Albuquerque, NM and describes a study undertaken at La Plata Mine to test the effectiveness of its geomorphic reclamation to reduce sediment loading from reclamation areas
